Chapter 1026 - 1023: What Kind of Woman Can’t You Have? (4)
"Lieutenant Li, thank you...""You’re welcome, miss. This was the Admiral’s idea, anyway. If you want to thank someone, thank him. He asked me to help you."
Speaking of Albert Kingsley, he was in a pretty miserable state. That night, he was suddenly dispatched to Africa. Even he was utterly baffled, wondering how he ended up being sent to Africa without offending his uncle?!

Inside the car, the atmosphere was tense.
From the moment Carla Carr got in, she felt the man sitting next to her was like a massive ice sculpture.
She paused, then initiated the conversation to break the eerie silence: "Alexander Kingsley, about..." Before she could finish, he suddenly leaned over, pinning her against the car window, startling her. The words she hadn’t yet spoken were all swallowed back.
"What are you doing here?" Alexander Kingsley seemed really unwilling to continue anything with her, yet his heart was still restless. Indeed, seeing her, his body moved uncontrollably closer to her, "Carla, why did you come?"
He repeated the question.
"I..." She took a deep breath, gazing at him, "I came to see you."
After speaking, she looked into his eyes. Her almond eyes blinked slightly, evoking pity.
"See me?" Alexander’s gaze turned slightly cold. Did she do whatever she wanted? Come and go as she pleased? Claim to fall out of love just like that?
Now, what is this supposed to mean?
"Yes." She nodded, "I came to see you." Then she shifted onto his lap, hugging his shoulders, drawing closer and closer.
Alexander frowned with displeasure, Heh!!
The same old trick.
Back then, she did the same thing, clinging to him, stripping in front of him, turning him straight from being indifferent to women. Now, was she planning to use those same tricks of feigned retreat?
"Get off." He spoke harshly.
She flinched in fear, immediately withdrawing her head, then softly sat back in her seat.
This wouldn’t solve anything!
But she really hadn’t figured out how to win over Alexander Kingsley yet.

High General Residence.
On the second floor, Alexander entered the room, showing no intention of acknowledging Carla.
She thought this time he truly intended to break things off with her, so she wiped her tears alone in the room.
This was the room she used three years ago, and nothing had changed. It turned out Alexander had never moved her belongings.
The next day, at 8 a.m.
She was still asleep when she heard the door being forcefully pushed open: "Bang—"
After the loud noise, she saw Alexander entering with an icy demeanor.
He approached with that cold aura, removing his military uniform, yet still exuding that intense air of menace and strong military presence.
Startled awake, she had just opened her eyes when she felt him forcefully pressing down on her, pulling off her clothes roughly, smirking coldly as he looked at her, "Are you a fairy?"
"Heh..."
"You are."
He muttered to himself, then dominantly leaned down, biting her skin hard.
"Ah..." She cried out in pain, "Alexander, it hurts!!"
"Heh..." He paused, seeing her frown, as if she was indeed in pain. His heart softened. Though he wanted to just take her, he got up and left.
